Portfolio Overview

I chose to put writing and editing samples on here because being an editor, that is the main task that I will be assigned to do. I want future employers to see that I have done a variety of different writing and/or editorial work before.To me, writing and editing are the broad spectrum of writing. It is the lengthy and Chucky paragraphs like articles and reports. All of the other styles of writing fall under this main section

As an graphic designer, one of my primary responsibilities is to create a variety of digital designs for the company. To showcase my proficiency in this area to future employers, I have included a design sample. Design, in my view, is primarily concerned with the visual aspect of creation. While there is some writing involved in my work, it is mainly to supplement the visuals that I have created. Nonetheless, it can still be considered a form of storytelling, albeit with a different writing style.

As a digital marketer, crafting various forms of social media content for a company's accounts is one of my core duties. To showcase my versatility in this area to prospective employers, I have included a couple of content creation samples. In my view, content creation is a blend of traditional writing and design. I incorporate both pictures and designs to create the post itself, while the written portion comprises the caption. Depending on the subject matter, the caption can be brief and snappy, or lengthy and informative. However, regardless of the approach, I consider content creation to be a form of storytelling that utilizes a distinct writing style.
